She loves Benten Kozou, I suppose.
And I saw the evening show with my relative who loves Tamasaburo as much as I do.
She enjoyed the old woman's role by Tamasaburo.
My kabuki tour is Matinee show.
I make sure the Matinee is the best for the foreigners and for the people who are not familiar with Kabuki. I watched 3 shows in March, today it was my third for the month.

Today is Girl's Festival
March 3rd is the girl's festival in Japan but it is not the national holiday.
The parents or the grand parents buy the traditional Japanese dolls for a new baby to pray for a good marriage
The family decorate the dolls, including emperoro and empress etc. every year.
The picure is my dolls my grand parents bought when I was born more than 40 years ago.
I love the dolls very much because they are a kind of my family.

THe first day of March show
"本日初日” is "Today is the first day" in Japanese.
Karen from US and I enjoyed Matinee show today.
Of course, I tought her about Kabuki and the programs before the show to help her to enjoy Kabuki more and more.
Kabuki lovers have tended to go to the Kabuki-za theater on the first day of the month over 200 years because they want to have many chances to talk others about the show they saw.
The first day is a kind of special day for the Kabuki actores who have to play for 25 days a month.
I felt a cheerful atomsphere at the Kabuki-za theater.

61 Days left
I took the picture this morning.
Only 61 days left before its demolition for rebuilding.
We Japanese have been familier with the theater built in 1950. Of course, I feel very sad because I have visited there to see Kabuki at least twice a month for almost 6 years.
The last show is on April 28,2010.
